Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the US. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modelling and acting. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies MacGraw was named one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw married three people.
